 The tenor viola is made of Rosewood in the side and bottom and European Spruce in the top. The frets are made of Indian ebony and gold tuners. This instrument is widely used by choro musicians. And it's the same model used by Jacob Bittencourt or "Jacob of the Mandolin", one of the greatest exponents of Brazilian instrumental music, especially the choro. It has very attractive sound quality and timbre pretty severe. The pitch used can be A – D - G - C, from the bottom up. The woods used are AA rating, and it has stringent selection criteria.
